Zuckerberg 'can't wait' for Google Glass

Despite the rivalry between his own firm and Google, Zuckerberg said a team of three Facebook engineers are waiting for the first Google Glass hardware to be delivered so they can begin building applications, according to Forbes. "I can’t wait to get my own," he said. The two firms, which increasingly compete for online advertising business, do not normally work together, Zuckerberg recently told investors. His unusually supportive comments came this week at the launch of a new science prize fund he is jointly sponsoring with Sergey Brin, Google’s cofounder, who is leading the development of Google Glass. Google also called for developers to come forward this week to help develop the system, which uses a screen mounted on spectacles that contain a tiny computer. A video also released this week showed how Google Glass projects information into the wearer’s field of vision, captures video and responds to voice commands.
